A few days ago, I started to feel tingling in
my feet. No, it is not diabetes,
migraines, multiple sclerosis, stroke or any other symptom of another disease.
It is the need to move. Walk towards a new goal.
In every project of our lives, the moment
comes when we begin to feel comfortable. Most of the time, it is because we
learn the dynamics of the process and we do it automatically. It also means
that our learning is becoming slower and slower.
After a while, when I feel comfortable and
adapted to each of the steps of that activity is when my feet and my whole body
begins to feel the need to move to new goals that allow me to continue growing.
In the category of immigrant where I am now, I
identify activities and tasks that strengthen my learning and knowledge of
English language. When I feel that I am
reaching my limit there and that growth and learning begin to stagnate, I begin
to look for new horizons.
When I started the task of learning English,
it was not easy or fun. It was frustrating because the brain has its time and
its process. I wanted to be like a
computer to which the data is entered and the results are immediately obtained.
Instead, I had to learn to learn and now I'm like an addict who needs more and
more. I have rediscovered the fun of learning.
Learning. Keeping the agile brain and
neurotransmitters active is part of what keeps humans healthy. Doing this, we
must leave behind the fears that keep us from moving forward. Sometimes "if it is not broken" you
must "break it" like the title of a marketing book says. Feeling afraid is part of the adventure.
Success is right on the other side. What
is your goal? What are you afraid of? Just
begin!
