Emigrants exposed to diseases at work

Working shifts at night can be damaging to one's health. In particular, it increases the risk of several cancers, diabetes, mental illnesses, and various heart diseases, according a recently publication from www.BreakingNewsEnglish.com .

The online newspaper published a study about to work at night and possible damages to health from "Sleep Research Centre at the U.K.'s University.  The Surrey discovered that many genes in the body needed to follow a regular 24-hour cycle, during which the body sleeps at night. If this cycle is broken, up to 1,500 genes could get damaged, eventually resulting in potentially life-threatening diseases".

The Study showed that “The human body has around 24,000 genes. Many of these switch off if the body does not follow a regular sleeping pattern. This can cause parts of the immune system to become less efficient, making us more susceptible to illnesses”.  However for emigrants people say not to work night shift, when they are unemployed and the only job’s opportunity is the thread shift.

In the beginning, a lot of those worker said: I will take that job, while, I will find the better one, but immediately start a circle where they need to sleep during the day because they are tired, so they do not have time to search a new job.

Professor Derk-Jan Dijk and Dr Simon Archer, researchers, whom made the study, said that is important to think about that information and the impact in the life of night shifts.   According with the researchers is fundamental "mitigate the impact" in people’s life, which have to work at night.
