Autumn in North America

Autumn is the best show of Mother Nature to tell us to be ready to the windy, snowy and frozen time of winter.  At the same time, it is another wonderful way of saying wait for other colorful time, chilly weather, and glamorous clothes.   It is the promise that it will return next year with a new demonstration of beautiful colors, toasted sunsets, and relaxing accelerated that leaves the hot summer to take us to the next dimension tempers.

The time movements are more visible in the landscape.  The Rogers Williams Park in Providence, highway, and public spaces are excellent spaces to see the color combination such as red, yellow, green, and brown on piles of leaves.  They create a movie in front of the observer with those colorful leaves spinning around, upping and down.   The leaves of the trees falling placidly, flirting with the wind, and use their pace to dance to chirping of crickets and other birds that do not know whether to migrate or stay until the winter.

During the autumn, the days and nights are regulated by a natural clock which allows the days are not as short as they are during the winter, or as long as in summer; however, they allow people to carry out their activities with more calm and harmony thanks to the pleasant temperatures prevailing in those months.  At the end of each day, it is the spectacle of sunsets.  As ocher spots you placed around the setting sun reddened intermingle with clouds environment, to make way for a gigantic cheese moon it seems to smile to those who watch.  When the day turns into night and most people are returning to their homes after an intense day of work, from a quiet space in my home, I displayed the sunset; it is the ideal place to enjoy a lukewarm cup of tea or hot chocolate while recognizing the greatness and majesty of Mother Nature and its waste of harmonic colors, smells and sounds moment.

Another aspect that makes the most wonderful autumn season is the temperature.  During the summer, the dress has to be very light to combat the high temperatures, while in the winter is the opposite: very much clothing to protect themselves from cold temperatures.  During the fall there is a transition between the two stations most inclement weather.  So people can use warm but comfortable and light clothes, while they feel protected and without much sweating.

Each year, the arrival of autumn is one of the most longed to enjoy tasty Sancochos, stews, soups and other hot foods from different cultures; but people must also be prepared for cloudy, misty, rainy days, and typical smells of each of those natural events; all elements are part of the package that accompanies the fall.  My favorite stamp is stand outside my door, warm with a shawl while I am sniffing and sipping an infusion of fruits while I enjoy the spectacle of colorful scenes of leaves dry up dancing with the wind directed by invisible ghosts, or yellowish sky that says “ enjoy the last rays of sun because now it is time that the moon dazzle you with its playful smile. "
