the few hours of sunshine. The Journal of an Immigrant brings to

On November 6, the
sunrise and sunset will be an hour earlier than the days before, with the Fall
Behind or Fall Back there will be more light in the morning, as www.timeanddate.com says. But this period also calls Winter Time; it is
good time to thing in other things as Carbon monoxide or CO2 and fire safety as
Healthy You Quarterly Newsletter Fall
2016 indicate to their readers.
The newsletter
says “test your CO2 and smoke detectors.
The American Red Cross recommends doing this every month. Yes, you need both –heating and cooking units
that may be damaged or installed incorrectly can cause a deadly buildup of CO2,
not just fires.” They also recommend
“change out the batteries in your smoke detectors. And if it’s been 10 years since you bought
the detector, you should replace it.”
Other recommendations
relative to fire that they do to be sure are everybody at home must know about
an evacuation plan, make sure that anything flammable has been moved away from
heat sources like baseboards, space heaters or the stove and candles and
electric blankets are cozy but you should never leave them on when you are not
home or if you are about to fall asleep.
As
an immigrant, who maybe comes from tropical weather, your whole body will start
a new routing after summer because the weather, and those changes could be easy
or not according the disciple of each one.
If you make a good winter plan and you accomplish it, when the spring come back, you will be stronger and wiser than now.
